We currently have an opportunity for a Contract Support Engineer to based in our Great Yarmouth Office. 

The Role 

To join the Asset Support Team based in Great Yarmouth and work across a range of offshore gas installations and renewable assets for a variety of clients.

 Responsibilities 

  • Manage the allocation of the offshore personnel resource pool, crew rotas and annual hours.
  • Lead the preparation of long term resource plans.
  • Coordinate planning and resource allocation meetings.
  • Ensure timely identification of personnel resource gaps and liaise with the relevant people to arrange cover.
  • Assist with managing the platform manning competence requirements.
  • Assist with the coordination of Management of Change activities and to formulate scopes of work.
  • Attend operations engineering meetings and ensure the resourcing requirements are captured in long term planning.
  • Assist the Asset Support Manager in establishing and maintaining an annual work plan that interfaces planned and corrective maintenance with operational, additional engineering and verification activities.
  • Ensure timely identification of occasion when resource levels are not sufficient for the planned work.
  • Deputise for managers within the Asset Management business stream.
  • Deputise for focal points for all activities on designated platform of responsibility.
  • Assist in reviewing data from completed maintenance activities and compare with equipment expectations, investigating alternatives for items continually failing to meet targets.
  • Liaise with OIMs, focal points, engineers and managers regarding all personnel requirements.
  • Maintain familiarity with relevant statutory regulations, codes of practice and offshore industry standards, Health and Safety at Work etc.

 Qualifications

  • Preferably HNC / HND with knowledge and experience of project management, southern North Sea gas production, maintenance and operations.
