What you will do

You will carry out analysis and design of  a range of offshore jackets and be  responsible for ensuring that all design work under your control is performed, reviewed, checked and approved in accordance with the engineering procedures or when specified to a Project Quality Plan.

 

What we would like you to offer us

You must have an appropriate degree and candidates for the Principal Engineer position will almost certainly be Chartered. Senior Engineers will have  5-10 years post-graduation experience in offshore structural engineering; candidates for the Principal role should have 15 years experience in the design of offshore substructures and should be fully conversant with aspects of environmental loading, foundation design, boat impact and fatigue.

 Experience of jacket modelling and analysis including in-service, fatigue, ship impact, transportation and lift analyses will be especially welcome.

All candidates must be familiar with and up to date with design developments, statutory regulations, code of practice and offshore industry standards

You will use in-house and SACS structural analysis software for analysis and design.

You should be a self-starter and will be  expected to complete assigned tasks within allotted timescales to the required standard
