Mr Vaughan Rees

Director of Business Development

Vaughan is director of business development, a position he has held since joining the company in early 2004. Before that, he was employed by Aker Kvaerner (now Aker Solutions) in the UK and held positions as business development manager, project manager and facilities engineering manager. Having started his career from university in the downstream oil, gas and petrochemical industry with Exxon Mobil and Bechtel International, Vaughan entered the offshore oil and gas industry in 1977 with McDermott Engineering as a process engineer.

After a variety of departmental management posts he was appointed engineering manager in London. Vaughan left McDermott in 1996 having also held project management posts and was technical manager based in London and then Aberdeen. Vaughan is a chartered engineer and a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
