Rate/Salary
Competitive International rates usually negotiable per contract per depending on duration, rotation & location.

This contract position offers a year's work in Egypt. ode is well-established in Cairo and our office thgere is available for support.
What you will do
Working on behalf of the Client, you will act on their behalf throughout the course of the offshore drilling programme which is being undertaken by their field development partner.
You will be based in the Client’s office in Cairo, travelling within Egypt as required.
The initial work would be the preparatory activities for an offshore drilling programme off the Mediterranean coast which includes but is not limited to the following:
• Drilling permits and licences (assistance in liaison with Government Bodies)
• Site Survey
• Environmental Studies
• Well Program Design (Co-design with the Operator)
• Rig Investigation
• Onshore base investigation
• Well Design corrections if needed
• Procurement Monitoring
• Communication Plan Design
• Reporting System set-up and implementation
Subsequent review and evaluation of mud logging and drilling reports throughout the course of the drilling activities.
What we would like you to offer us
You will need a strong background in drilling engineering and must have previous experience of setting up and subsequently managing on behalf of the Client, offshore drilling activities off Egypt/North Africa
