Emergency Support Services
To respond to offshore emergencies on any Caledonia issue, ode provides a fully equipped Emergency Response Centre (ERC) from its Great Yarmouth Marine Base and an emergency response team available 24 hours a day.
In addition to the ERC, Caledonia has a fully equipped office located within the ode complex with IT communication links tied directly to the Caledonia head office in London.
Intervention Services
The intervention services consist of planning and engineering well intervention programmes for the Johnston field. The intervention plan is part of a 10 year programme which also includes bi-annual subsea GVI's (General Visual Inspections) using ROV videos and diver inspections.
The work is carried out in the general area of the template, and on the template itself, including equipment & piping. Other inspections take place such as corrosion monitoring of the anodes and wall thickness checks of the piping.
As part of this programme, ode has been responsible for engineering a solution to a gas leak detected by an anomaly in the production flow. This involved the co-ordination of a number of relevant suppliers. ode has also been active in locating and providing DSV and Jack Up support together with the associated sub suppliers for the work over programme.
Johnston Extension
ode has been engaged in bringing the Johnston Field Extension (JFE) Project into fruition. This comprises an additional subsea well tied-back to the Johnston subsea manifold. ode is providing all engineering and associated project management in support of the new well development and in particular contract and procurement services
