Project Description :

Engineering Services Contract comprising engineering, design, procurement, construction supervision and commissioning for in-life modification and improvements on all Southern North Sea assets (both on and offshore) operated by ConocPhillips.

Detailed Description :

The scope includes engineering consultancy, engineering design, construction and commissioning support and procurement support services to ConocoPhillips for their Operations group.

Installations and facilities covered by the contract include the Hewett field and satellites and the Phillips Bacton Gas Terminal.

Hewett Complex

The work for the Operations Group typically follows the route of a front end loading study to evaluate options and gain operations input. This value adding step is followed by detail design and implementation.

Ad-hoc engineering consultancy may include: Conceptual Studies, Engineering Calculations and Inspection services.

As well as the full range of engineering support to the Operations Group, the work includes provision of all management, supervision, labour, tools, equipment and supplies, and full co-ordination and interface with ConocoPhillips representatives.

Brownfield projects have included:

  • Modelling of the offshore and onshore compression systems,
  • Enhanced produced water handling by injection into a redundant well,
  • Replacement of power generation facilities on a normally unmanned installation,
  • Modelling of the flare and vent systems for HP/LP interfaces,
  • Decommissioning of an offshore compression system,
  • Modifications to allow re-acceleration of an electric drive compressor,
  • Decommissioning study for the Bacton terminal.
