Detailed Description:

Background

Total E&P UK PLC (TEPUK) is developing Total E&P UK PLC (TEPUK) is to develop the Forvie North Field in the Block 3/15 of the Northern North Sea as a subsea tie-back to the North Alwyn (B) Platform. The single well development will be tied back to a production manifold located approximately 2.2 km north of the Forvie well. A new insulated (pipe-in-pipe) pipeline will be routed directly from the Forvie manifold to the NAB platform. A control umbilical runs a shorter route to the Dunbar platform (which has an existing fibre-optic link to the NAB platform. Other existing discoveries and potential prospects, in the vicinity of Forvie, may be developed via the new Forvie pipeline and are provided for within the manifold design. Scope of Work

The ode Scope of Work as sub contractor to Dril-Quip in Aberdeen consists of an EPC contract for the supply of the Forvie Manifold. This includes:-

• Process verification of the manifold concept.
• The development of the overall layout of the manifold (approx 220T).
• The detail design of the manifold structure and piping. (controls system design and supply is by Dril-Quip)
• Integration of the controls system into the manifold
• Provide space and facilities for subsea intervention by both divers and ROVs.
• Procurement of structural and piping bulk materials, small piping valves, anodes and lift rigging. (large diameter valves and all controls supplied free issue by Dril-Quip.
• Fabrication of the manifold (by ode subcontractor) including mechanical completion tests.
• Assistance to Dril-Quip for manifold System Integration Test (SIT).
• Manifold to be delivered to quayside, ready for load-out by others.

The engineering and procurement activity will be based in our Kingston offices and fabrication is sub contracted to AKD in Lowestoft.
