Detailed survey of vessel pre-purchase confirming specification requirements/upgrade constraints.

Engineering works for tender submission for supply and operate.

Subsequent detail engineering works for conversion including;

• liaison with Classification Authority (Germanischer Lloyd)
• demolition/removal of existing drilling facilities
• leg extension to 62.5 m water depth
• definition of associated spud can requirements
• design/specification of leg locking system

Design of all modifications to deck/hull including removal/relocation of deck house/stairwell etc.

Demolition schedules for removal of drilling facilities, including drilling sub-base and deck equipment.

Upgrading of accommodation areas (including HVAC intake/outlet facilities).

Upgrade of all fire and safety systems for change in primary use.

Vessel topside/below deck facilities layouts including;

• fire pump installation/seawater lift
• fire protection/escape routes/H2S detection system
• fire water ring main to main deck/production skids
• Deisel fuel/water maker/plant system installation works
• Re-installation of high pressure mud-pumps for future water injection
• HVAC systems installation/upgrade
• Upgraded telecommunications systems

Development of construction workscope for riding crew during transit from North Sea to Qatar.

Development of detailed construction workscope for conversion works.

Management of tender clarification meetings with construction yards for conversion

Hook-up/Interface works associated with installation of process production train, producing peak 65,000 bopd;

• modification to crane facilities
• integration of fire and gas/shutdown logic systems
• design of: skim pile system/export riser
  • process control room facilities
  • structural supports for all processing equipment
  • pilot water injection
  • well pressure equalisation
  • new compressor
• hazardous area drawings

Production of all associated operating/safety procedures.

Full procurement of all main items of equipment on behalf of DMS; requisitioning, placement of purchase orders, inspection/expediting.
