The work for the Operations Group is performed under XOM's Work Request System and includes: Ad-hoc engineering consultancy, work for the “CRIMP System” (Change Request Improvement Modification Proposal), ad-hoc engineering support to XOM operations personnel, and documentation revision and updating. Work requests initiate cost and schedule estimates, setting out budget man-hours, material costs and third party costs.

Ad-hoc engineering consultancy may include; Conceptual Studies, Engineering Calculations, Inspection services and QA/QC services.

Under the “CRIMP system” ode executes mini-projects from conceptual design through installation using XOM fabrication and construction contractors, as appropriate, in liaison with XOM.

XOM Operations Personnel can request ad-hoc engineering support using the work request system. This is for support where the scope cannot be clearly defined, such as trouble shooting, studies, breakdowns, unplanned maintenance and the like, and including direct support functions. Some of these may be long term in nature.

As well as the full range of engineering support to the Operations Group, the work includes provision of all management, supervision, labour, tools, equipment and supplies, and full co-ordination and interface with XOM representatives.

Work for the XOM Projects Group has focused on the following:

  • Camelot CB Platform decommissioning.
  • Reuse of Camelot CB Platform for Bedevere project.
