ODE Asset Management selects Peterson and their Lighthouse technology suite as integrated logistics provider

International energy logistics provider Peterson has been awarded a three-year contract by ODE Asset Management (ODE AM) to provide integrated logistics services from the Port of Lowestoft.

Peterson will support with quayside services, fuel bunkering, road transport and other logistics services for ODE AM’s seven offshore managed assets in the Southern North Sea. > Read More

ODE marks 5th anniversary since opening of Taiwan office

This month marks the 5th anniversary of the opening of ODE’s Taiwan office in Taipei. The Taipei office was launched in 2017 to provide dedicated services to the Taiwanese energy industry as it aims to install 5.6 GW of offshore wind by 2025.

Across its five years of operation, the Taiwan office has become an integrated part of the local supply chain, recruiting personnel in managerial, project and administrative roles and delivering major contracts for the Formosa 1 and 2 and Hai Long offshore wind farms. > Read More

40th Anniversary of the Mary Rose’s recovery

The 10th of October marked 40 years since the recovery of the Mary Rose, one of Henry VIII’s warships, from the seabed of the Solent. The ship sank in 1545 during the Battle of the Solent and remained under water for over 400 years until its recovery in 1982 following intensive years of exploration and planning.

The Mary Rose was recovered by a team of divers, archaeologists, and engineers including personnel from Howard Doris, the engineering company that became ODE. > Read More

ODE attends 17th UK Taiwan Renewable Energy Roundtable

On 14th September, ODE’s Head of Technical Services Thomas Tsantikos attended the 17th UK Taiwan Renewable Energy Roundtable organised by the Department for International Trade (DIT) in Taipei. At the event in London, ODE joined officials from British and Taiwanese delegations including government bodies, trade associations, and developers.

Topics discussed at the roundtable included Taiwan’s latest offshore wind development targets, net zero goals and challenges in the UK and Taiwan, and the importance of training for engineering personnel. ODE would like to thank the DIT in Taipei for this opportunity to engage once again with the leading Taiwanese offshore wind sector.

ODE and ODE Asset Management receive ECITB Gold Awards

ODE and ODE Asset Management have been presented with Gold Awards by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB). The ECITB provides support and access to training opportunities and development activities across the engineering industry. The awards recognise both companies’ commitment to training and development across their workforces. The awards were presented as part of the ECTIB’s Skills and Training Charter with the Gold Award being the highest achievement available. Goals of the Charter include tackling skills gaps and shortages, improving access to quality training, and assuring competence across the industry.
