ODE Asset Management commence three year charter of the VOS Glamour

6th June, 2024

ODE Asset Management (ODE AM) has commenced a new 3 year charter of the VOS Glamour multi-role vessel managed by Vroon Offshore Services Limited. The charter is being supported by ODE AM’s shipbroker Braemar Shipbroking Limited and began in early May 2024.

VOS Glamour will undertake emergency response and multi-role duties across ODE AM’s portfolio of managed assets in the UK Southern North Sea. The vessel will operate from the Port of Lowestoft and will be supported by our shore base provider Peterson Energy Logistics.

VOS Glamour was selected by ODE AM for this long-term charter owing to its technical capabilities and low fuel consumption proven during previous ODE AM charters.  Additionally, the vessel and its crew proudly have amassed an impressive period of over 8 years lost time incident free.  ODE AM will be working with Vroon to look at future fuel and carbon saving initiatives.

Shaun Hutchinson, UK Technical Services Director, at ODE Asset Management commented, “VOS Glamour will play an important role supporting our Southern North Sea shared resource logistics model.  Chartering a modern and fuel-efficient vessel and providing multi-client support from this vessel shows our commitment to supporting our clients’ and our own net-zero ambitions”.

Stuart Thom, Managing Director at Vroon Offshore Services Ltd., commented, “We are very excited about this new charter in our excellent relationship with ODE Asset Management, particularly the joint endeavours to achieve sustainability and net-zero targets. We wish our vessel and her crew a safe and successful charter.
